About Fidel

Hi, I’m Fidel Martins. I’m not a professional writer by training, just someone who believes that the truest stories are the ones we live before we ever think to write them down. I grew up believing life was shaped entirely by choice, hustle, and effort, until one ordinary afternoon quietly proved me wrong. That afternoon became the seed of my first book, The Mystery of Fate, a true and personal love story about the moments we don’t choose for ourselves, the people who are somehow chosen for us instead, and the strange, patient hand that seems to guide us toward them anyway.

I write the way I remember things: slowly, honestly, and with a lot of feeling. I want readers to sit inside a moment with me, not just read about it. If you’ve ever looked at someone from a distance and felt your whole world quietly shift, or waited on a name you didn’t yet know would matter so much, I think you’ll find something familiar here.
