"I came across this book from another platform and I have to say Filthy Storm was a fascinating read! I enjoyed the character dynamics between Frankie and Apollo, with Frankie being very talkative and Apollo more reserved, lol. The drama, especially surrounding Apollo's ex, Eva, was captivating. I found myself strongly disliking Eva, which shows the author's skill in crafting well-rounded characters. The complicated father-daughter relationship between Enzo and Frankie was also intriguing, but I won't give away spoilers! I highly recommend reading it - you won't regret it!"

" Apollo is the quarterback that all the girls lust over. Apollo doesn’t mind, as long as it keeps the public’s interest and his salary high. But recently his moves on the football field have been less than satisfying. “Is it your ex-wife?” Coach Spencer asks. Apollo doesn’t immediately answer. He knows is that if Spencer puts too much pressure on him, he’ll live up to his chaotic nickname, Storm, much to Spencer’s regret and possibly Apollo’s own. Frankie is your classic gorgeous blonde with yellow curls and kissable, pouty lips. She loves to drive her motorcycle to make important deliveries. That doesn’t mean life isn’t a struggle for her financially. Especially when she needs to make bail money that will release her father from jail. What to do? A simple waitressing won’t cut it. That’s when it occurs to Frankie to work as a staff member at the Plaza Hotel. She’ll be happy for the job, as long as she’s not harassed there. I haven’t gotten to the part where Apollo and Frankie actually meet yet. But you know the sparks will fly when it happens. I liked how author Breanne Jay opens the story with a male protagonist, (I did the same in my own novel.) Which is unusual for a heterosexual romance novel. At any rate this is a fun read with quirky characters that go pleasantly beyond the usual love interests. "
