"The writing style is beautiful, the repetition is what dulls it slightly. HOWEVER, the story, the fact it’s one of your early works (and I’ve read your wonderful later stories) and the imagery is so lovely that it only lost one star. This goes to show that there is someone for everyone and although the journey may be fraught, the destination can be worth it. "

"I love the original plot of the book, Dian and Cora are very strong characters with an undeniable chemistry. I love that the author wasn’t afraid to make Cora soft and submissive, personally I feel like most books try to make the female lead super strong and powerful and dominant, which is fine but as someone who is and prefers their characters to embrace their femininity and dream of being the damsel in distress, it’s so refreshing to find. There were few things I disliked about the book but if I had to choose I would say repitition. I felt like the author mentioned how large and hard to hide her boobs were, after the tenth time it was mentioned it became kind of like okay we get it she has giant boobs that like to poke out. I also wish Dian would have mixed up the pet names. Baby is cute but when it’s the only one being used and how often it is used kind of pulled me out of the story. "
