"This was a lovely story with a satisfying conclusion. Throughout their marriage, both characters pretended that everything was fine. Matt's reaction upon discovering his wife's infidelity with David was deeply troubling. He was the first to start cheating on his wife. This behavior is quite common among men; they often feel entitled to cheat on their wives. However, if the roles were reversed and the woman were unfaithful, the response tends to be much more extreme."

What a twister ending
"The story was well written. I had my suspicion about Matt since he didn’t pay much attention to Charlotte or fight for her to stay. The❤️🔥burning between David and Charlotte could not be denied. I’m glad everybody got what they wanted at the end. "

Very Emotional
"This story was extremely well written. The author did an excellent job writing this story in a way that caused the reader to feel what the lead female felt; the desire, the shame, the guilt, the heartbreak, the love, the friendship. I was disappointed in the ending. I was disappointed that there wasn’t more written about the aftermath of the affair coming out and I was emotionally shaken by the revelation in the last chapter. For me the revelation that came in the last chapter created a feeling opposite of closure; so that bothered me. Regardless, it was well written and captivating even if it caused me to feel sad. It was a sad love story with a kind of happy ending for me. "
