This is one of those, only Vivienne Wren takes you on such a roller coaster of turns that you don't ever really know which way is up until you've felt every emotion, cursed out the main characters a whole bunch, cheered them on, encouraged the supporting characters in their efforts, laughed at and with them, cried over them and then made it to the end almost entirely wrung out, but in the best way possible. A Vivienne Wren story never disappoints, and this is no exception. 🥰🥰🥰"

"If you like heartwarming, warm-and-fuzzy, Hallmark movie type vibes in your books, please read Take the Reins! Plot is very linear, relatively low stakes and low stress while reading. Characters are super likeable, and there a few I'd be itching to see return in some spin-offs should Vivienne grace us with more talented writing! The ONLY thing close to a critique I'd have is this: there are a couple of moments where your suspension of disbelief will ripple if you're familiar with the Southern states, small-town life, or ranch life, but nothing that takes away from the story. "

"Wow, loved this story! I am from Belgium so it's almost like a Fantasy for me... I have no clue about real cowboy live, but I sure loved the idea of it. I've grown up in the countryside and live now in the city. Sure as hell miss the simplicity of the country, so even though it's a far from my bed show, it still hit home, and the story gave something to relate to! I loved the characters and how real they could be. I loved the real life struggles and the weight of "choices to be made". And the spice was perfect on top of the romance! Thank you for the fantastic writing, again... ♡"
