"This is my first Gothic-vibed, dark academia story, and the author delivered! A hundred percent. The writing style and how each sentence is woven together give off this haunting vibe: it reminds me of foggy buildings, dark, unforgiving forests, secrets behind ancient doors, and dark lore. As a writer myself, I fell in love with how this story painted the scenes in my head simply through the words I read. Truly a talent. The chemistry between Ophelia and Professor Quinn had me all giddy and screaming: I could feel the forbidden-ness between the two of them, the tension and sparks that're waiting to just crack and combust, and the desires each time their eyes meet. Their relationship felt so natural, and Professor Quinn is a fine, hot man 🤭. The plot of this story definitely took a turn into something darker, more sinister, and magical. I would love to learn more about the secret society of worshippers, like a little dig into the ancient history of how things came to be. The plot twists are definitely twisted, and I couldn't put the book down until I knew the ending and all of the answers. Amazingly well done, author!"

It is an unusual storyline and it definitely kept me guessing at times but I really enjoyed it. It did however feel a little rushed at the end but nothing detrimental "

I had tons of theories throughout, because the mysteries in this story were so intriguing, that I was analysing everything. I was always happy to catch a clue dropped here and there. It feels a shame the story has already ended because I loved it so much and wish there was more."
