"I really enjoyed this. The story was so engaging and well paced, it kept me hooked! The love story was beautifully written and you could feel the angst and yearning. Their journey is brilliant and the ending was fantastic. The chemistry between the two main characters is on fire and I loved the humour and banter between them. I’ve read a few books of Vero’s and each one makes me want to read more. Thank you!"

"I had a really good time with this story. It’s fun, cute, and really easy to get lost in. That said, I struggled a bit with the MMC. I think for me, the emotional balance in the relationship didn’t always feel fully convincing. It felt like only the FMC was putting in the effort, and I found myself wishing for a bit more depth or clarity when it came to his feelings. There were also moments where I personally wanted stronger reassurance about how he saw the FMC beyond the surface, especially considering their history. It didn’t ruin the story for me, but it did make it harder to fully buy into the romance. Overall though, I still really enjoyed the ride and would recommend it if you’re in the mood for something light, entertaining, and sweet."
