"This book was pretty darn great, it kept me wanting more & kept reading through the night until I finished it. It actually ended beautifully. Lyra was free from judgment & torment of the Ironfang pack or from Kane joined her new community the Shieldsong pack after stepping down as Alpha from Ironfang. Lyra tells Kane "you said you'd stand with me" he replies "Always!" She tells Kane, "then stand with me. As min" "If you still want that?" Kane says, "there's never been anything else I'd rather have!!!" An just like that Kane had earned her trust & forgiveness & is ready to choose one another. Not claim, not mated, no bond, just us choosing us for the rest of our lives. Wow... great book"

Great thought-provoking story
"I've only read a small number of shifter novels, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt if you want. Compared to those others, this book is completely different, and I like that. Ultimately, this is a book about leadership using shifters as the main characters. From the difference in pack leadership structure, to the nature of shifting, to the realism of the relationships, this book offers a thoughtful and original rendering of shifter society. Really a great plot. Note: If you require sex scenes in your shifter books, this one isn't for you. If you like ghost stories, this is right up your alley."
