"Okay, so I loved The Doctor’s Mates and listened to this one too, and I have to say, I enjoyed it just as much! I love that Nicola is a little replacement for TDM’s Eric, with that controlling alpha vibe 😍🤤 I loved the humor, the banter, and the chemistry between Nicola and Aubergine. And I listened to the audiobook, and OMG... Nicola’s voice is soooo on point. And I’m freaking loving the whole “touch her and die” vibe 🥵 I’m such a Godfather and Scarface fan, so the mafia plot is definitely something I love. But honestly, I don’t think I would have cared what the plot was—I feel like you could write a story in any genre with any trope, and I’d still love it! As always, Corinthe, I feel like you really nail the dynamics between your characters. There’s something so interesting about the way they interact that just pulls me in every time. It’s always such a joy to read your books❤️ "
