Dear Reader,
Many of you have truly enjoyed the draft version of The Job and provided a great deal of praise for the book. For that, I am truly grateful. As many have rightly pointed out, in draft form there are numerous grammatical and spelling errors, to be expected in a draft. While I had originally intended to go back and fix these errors on here and leave the final, edited copy. Instead, I have decided to leave this copy as is (with the exception of chapter one) and provide a final, expanded and edited copy as well.
The main reason for this is that many of you fell in love with the story as is and there are aspects that I am changing or expanding in the editing process. I wanted to preserve the original for anyone that didn't enjoy the changes. For those that do enjoy them, I hope that this original copy serves as an interesting footnote to my creative process.
As always, none of this could be possible without my real life Kate. I am eternally grateful that she decided to take The Job....
