I felt a connection to Farrell instantly, his story and reason why he did for his sister was justified, and I loved him even more for doing it. Farrell is a nice person, a good guy, that isn’t very lucky in love, but has a big heart and just wants to find the one he can love with his mind, body and soul. The Boss, Kai is a mystery, someone that protects, and punishes those that hurt innocent people, someone that holds so many secrets about himself, that is until Farrell comes into his life, and organisation, and starts to break down Kai’s protective walls. This story is a must read, I highly recommend this brilliant book to everyone.❤️❤️ "

"This book is absolutely amazing. Kai and Farrell's journey is the most difficult one of this series so far. Kai's trauma has left him isolated and alone except for his sister. Farrell's soft heart has been crushed by his ex and his so-called friends. He also finds himself alone except for his sister, whom he kills for. That leads him to Kai and the organization. The chemistry between Kai and Farrell is there from the start. Their relationship is tested again and again, but nothing can change how they feel. They are both beautiful people who deserve the happiness they've found. This story left me crying, laughing, and mad as hell. This authors writing style brings this story to life, and you are carried along for the emotional ride, but it is completely worth the trip. Amazing job author thank you for sharing your stories with us. 💞🩷💞"

Showcasing the healing and transformative power of love
"Bound by the Boss begins rather darkly, with the protagonist committing a brutal murder. It then evolves into an exploration of the “boss” romance trope as can be easily discerned from the title. What the title does not reveal is the author’s incredible skill at turning such tropes on their heads and devising clever, heartwarming, and complex relationships between the characters that are unexpected and deeply moving. Over the course of the novel, it is the boss himself who is transformed by the relationship he gains with Farrell, and I would even make an argument that the Boss, rather than Farrell, is the primary protagonist of this story. Their romance is filled with the expected erotic mix of love and longing, but as it develops, we see that the mysterious and dangerous Boss is actually the more vulnerable character, haunted by his past, and in desperate need of love’s healing touch. I thoroughly enjoyed their journey through this emotional transformation. There is also far less kink in this story than is typical for @postscriptregrets stories, but I found that refreshing in this case. My only critique, and it is small, is that the backdrop of the story: a dangerous cabal of assassins who brutally kill all sorts of “bad” people, creates an action-thriller setup that is not really delivered. The author walks right up to the cross-genre line, but he never goes over it. Does this subtract from the romance, the characters, or the relationship? No, it doesn’t, but I can’t help but feel it might be a missed opportunity to create a romance that is far more action-packed and multidimensional. A few times, walking that line felt slightly odd and out of place because it was so underdeveloped, merely window dressing for the situation of the characters. Perhaps it is something the author could explore in the future with this setup he has created. Ultimately, Bound by the Boss is a different kind of “ mafia boss” trope story. It explores an age-gap relationship in a way that I found touching and inspirational, and it puts the transformative and healing power of real love at the forefront, showcasing this theme in a refreshing and imaginative way that turns almost every expectation you will have on its head. It is a must-read. "
