"Die Geschichte hat mir sehr gut gefallen, genau wie die Idee der Handlung und die Charaktere. Das einzige, was manchmal etwas verwirrend für mich war und das kam einige Male vor, wenn in einem Kapitel die Charaktere besprochen haben, wie etwas abläuft oder wenn eine Information geteilt wurde und wenn sie dann im nächsten Kapitel nichts mehr davon wussten oder sie plötzlich ganz anders handelten. Grossartig gestört hat es mich nicht, weil ich die Story sehr schön fand. Vielleicht liegt es auch an der deutschen Übersetzung, deshalb möchte ich es nicht in meine Bewertung einfließen lassen. Eine Fortsetzung würde ich sehr gerne lesen, über die anderen Bandmitglieder von Fiero, gibt es bestimmt auch einiges zu erzählen. "

Nothing worthwhile is easy
"Good story so far, the plot flows fairly well. The main characters are fleshed out and have depth to them, although this story is in the beginning I can see the story getting into the backstories of each character that will give them depth. The main two characters are just getting to know each other when a monkey wrench is thrown into their future. Now we just need to see how this plays out, pun intended. The Manager seemed to go from content to unhappy fairly quickly, I'm looking forward to seeing if his mood change is his own or if it was a directive from someone else. It will be fun to see where this ends up. "

"I really enjoyed this story overall — it’s a sweet, emotional paranormal romance with lovable characters and a satisfying relationship arc. Trysta and Fiero’s connection is heartfelt, and I liked how their bond developed despite outside interference. The emotional tension worked well, and I genuinely cared about their happy ending. That said, I did wish there was more shifting in this shifter story. For a book centered around shifters, we didn’t really get to see much actual shifting or exploration of their abilities. I would have loved more scenes showing their wolf sides, pack dynamics, or the physicality of being a shifter. I’m also very curious about the wider world. We’re told shifters exist, but I wanted more depth about their politics, hierarchy, and how their society functions. And how long humans knows about shifters? Which species is dominant? Shifters or humans? How it really works? That kind of worldbuilding would have added even more weight and tension to the story. Regarding Trysta’s backstory — I understand that she struggled growing up and faced bullying because of her hearing aids, especially in a small town. However, I did find myself questioning how extreme the bullying remained after she moved to a bigger city. In modern settings, hearing aids are quite common, and many deaf or hard-of-hearing people live and work fully independent lives. I would have liked a bit more nuance or explanation for why she was targeted so intensely. Overall, it was an enjoyable read with strong romantic elements and a lot of heart. I’d absolutely read more about the band and their mates — and I’d love to see the author expand the shifter world further in future books."

"I found myself enjoying this take on a shifter romance. Would have been five stars all around if there was a little more depth to the story, great opportunities to do so. I was disappointed on the way it ended and some of the gaps in the story, but over all it was a fun short read! "
