"Dear author, thank you for writing a beautiful novel, combining magic, female strength, romance and suspense all in one. I really appreciate your writing style, the way you build the story and tension up, let everything simmer and then still find a way to surprise us readers with a well-constructed plot. The last chapters suggest a sequel. There's still so much left to discover and explain, still some characters with great potential. I'd love to read a second and maybe even a third book about Malaena, Wick, Desi, Kira, the sisters' mother and the coven. And what does the event entail when the stars align? We've been given a taste and are thirsty for more. Thank you, well done!"
A nice story that adds well to the main 2 .
"I have enjoyed this book, having read the previous 2 books; The Alpha’s Curse and The Cursed Heir (Shadows of Vaelderen 1 and 2), this gives you a different insight into the Royal Court and how the main threat, The Crimson Circle, had been playing out, within the palace walls. Giving you more insight as to how different people deal with this evil. I can’t wait for the next in the series, it’s a shame that it won’t be available on Inkitt, but I have logged into the link on Penelope Wraith’s profile page. I really like her way of writing and how she will really stretch out the story, so it isn’t , oh I’ve found my mate/partner, now all together and all happy ever after ......... 🥱 I know it’s fantasy, but real life doesn’t always go to plan, so why can’t that happen in a fantasy novel? Just as we have insecurities, vulnerabilities, along with defiance and strong will, so do the characters in all 3 of these books, which is what makes the characters feel more rounded, more honest and vulnerable and real (well, almost ), making me hooked on this series and I can’t wait to see how this will end! "

"This was a riveting book, and I enjoyed every second of it! Couldn't put it down. The slow burn and romantic tension between Wick and Mal built up into an explosive acceptance of each other that did not disappoint. I love their relationship, and love the approach of surrendering to your partner and what it truly means to belong to someone. I did note author's comments that we will see more of these characters in other books, so I am hoping to see a resolution to this story!"
