BLOOD AND INFERNO
"Another M. Lane story that I cannot fault. Danny decides he should search for his cousin who has gone missing. Despite Scott being a lowlife crim, Danny feels obligated as Scott is his only blood relative left. He traces him to a mountain area in Kentucky and discovers a cave system that leads to the home of an ancient shifter dragon. Scott is being held captive for trying to steal the dragon's treasures. Sinai offers this because he is fascinated with Danny (after having read his mind and his past). Danny finds himself drawn to Sinai despite some of his monstrous behaviour. An unexpected bond forms, sexual tension builds and romance blooms. Enter a fascinating world created by Sinai inside the mountain, and fall in love with his sly, powerful, sexy persona. Whilst Danny will take you through an inferno of emotion, desire, lust, nervous energy and brattiness. Loved all of it."

The disappearance of his older brother has made it worse. Then his only blood cousin disapoears, and Danny fights his own depression and alcoholism to go and rescue him. Therein lays an adventure, fear, drama, supernaturals, and possible redemption. What more could you ask for?"

"It's hard to make a relationship with such a massive power imbalance feel wholesome, but the author made their dynamic surprisingly healthy and I was rooting for them from the start. Sinai was a great character. I haven't seen many androgynous/'pretty' men be the more dominant partner, and I loved it. I wish we could have seen him interact with more characters because he had the best dialogue. Also, Danny's many descriptions of his ~long elegant fingers~ really made me feel represented as a hand fetishist 🤭 I see you king. Great story, M. Lane! "
