"Lu d'une seule traite car j'ai été emportée par ce roman sans même m'en rendre compte. Tout est prenant, que ce soit les intrigues, les actions, les émotions, les personnages ou même l'univers dans lequel se déroulent ces aventures. Un univers qui fait penser à une époque féodale malgré les références à un monde humain tout à fait contemporain. La magie, le mysticisme et ses perversions de même que l'éternelle soif de pouvoir et de puissance sont les fondations sur lesquelles est bâtie cette histoire qui parle aussi de peurs, lâcheté, sentiments, faux-semblants, trahisons... Bien écrit, palpitant et, parfois même, haletant, ce livre est, à mon avis, une belle réussite. Je salue l'auteur(e) pour cette performance. 🙏🫶"

The story was engaging and I found myself invested in the characters and what would happen next. I’m really hoping there will be a book two! One thing that did throw me off a bit was the change in perspective. The book started in first person and then shifted to third person. That change caught me off guard, so it might flow better if the story stayed in one perspective throughout the entire book."

"I really hope that there is a second book because it kind of ended with a very open end and frankly this book was really really stinking good! Totally binge worthy this story will wrap itself around your heart and tug. the sassy comments throughout the story adds a much needed break from the intense emotions evoked throughout. This is a very slow burn romance and an action adventure rolled into one. The relationship between the characters evolves with the storyline in a very intense and natural way. Recommended reading for young adults on up who enjoy an intense intelligently written story. I can’t wait to read what comes next out of this talented authors imagination. "
