"Being a Louisiana girly, I love the setting and the plot. Especially using Cajun terms. My only dislike is all the spicy talking leading leading up to Lucas and Leah’s first time only for it to be basically skipped. Other than that, it’s a great read"

"I'm going to start this review by saying this, One of the things I love about shifter stories is the consistency in how mates act, the instant recognition between an Alpha and their mate, the closeness, the focus on each other and those that get in the way? I've always called them organ donors. This story has very little of that. Not the certainty, even though the alpha's mate is human, or appears to be. Maybe it's the laid back attitude of the Cajun Alpha, the fact that he's only 18, or the fact that the author, by their own words, indicate they took canon and followed some parts, but not others. That loses me as a reader, I like shifter stories that follow canon, perhaps not entirely, leaving a bit for creative writing, but most of it. This could end up being a very good story, there are elements that I can already see that will be interesting to discover for others and I hope you get everything you want. I won't know, I read about 15 chapters before the uncertainty killed my interest and that's fine. This story doesn't speak to me, but it will others and I review everything I read. The characters are sufficiently developed to the point where you know who they are, even at chapter 15. There's a secret, or several here waiting to be uncovered. The FMC's backstory is just vague enough to be enticing, the MMC's history too has secrets buried that need to be uncovered. The two fellow pack mates though? decidedly certain in all ways they shouldn't be at this stage, they should be protecting the incoming Luna, yet act against her...which again defies canon. I don't believe in single sentence reviews, those are comments. If you are going to take the time to review something then give me details, what's the story about? How are the characters set up, are they fleshed out? or are they superficial? all of these details help other readers decide whether to give it a chance, or not. To the author, it was interesting until the uncertainty got high enough to end my participation, but I wish you well in crafting this story. I hope it's everything you want it to be. "
