Este libro es mejor que un Bestseller
" Ninguna palabra podría, ni en milenios, explicar de cerca lo que me hizo sentir este libro. La intensidad con la que pude vivirlo, será recordada para siempre. Empezó como una simple curiosidad, hasta arrojarme a la obsesión literaria y terminar incluso con un dolor impotente. Cassian, un personaje que merece todas mis lineas. El, para mí, codiciado emperador de Roma tiene el desarrollo de personaje más perfecto y estable que he visto en mi vida, parece el sutil aterrizaje de un avión. La forma en la que cada personaje, incluyendo los secundarios lejanos se integran en la historia es abismal, ingenioso y no para de agregarle más intriga a la trama. Oscar se subestima a si mismo, es más inteligente y ha sobrevivido a una época difícil en donde su cabeza hubiese ahorrado la fuerza de sus enemigos. Y el romance que hay dentro, es la demostración y ejemplo más preciso que aspiro en el amor. Necesito que alguien esté tan profundamente loco, que no me deje ir de su vida ni de su mundo jamás! La mezcla de palabras son movimientos que hacen de este libro un producto adictivo de los que no quieres que termine, y el impacto que dejó en mí se convirtió en lágrimas sobre mis ojos. Este es el libro del mes y podria ser el del año. Como me encantaría ver aquí un contrato con Galatea "
Couldn't stop reading
"Enjoyed it from beginning to end. Liked the characters and while there was love, that is not all that it was about. Our characters were brave but did not lack fear, adapted, grew and learned to accept their situation and each other. That is love. The intrigue! Human life having no value. I particularly liked that it emphasized how unromantic the past was, the dangers and ignorance. We were spared the toilet situation but I was thinking it ;) Looking forward to next book"

"Nunca antes había escrito una reseña pero esta lectura lo amerita, en lo personal me engancho y no pude soltarla hasta terminarla, sentí muchas cosas al leer que no se encuentran en cualquier texto. No sé cómo decirlo simplemente es muy buena y si tienes tiempo dale la oportunidad de que te encante como lo hizo conmigo. "

"Ich mag historische Romane, obwohl ich nicht bewerten kann, wie viel davon der Überlieferung entspricht. Auch das Brechen von Tabus (Homosexualität) finde ich gut, obwohl das im alten Rom gar nicht so ungewöhnlich gewesen sein soll."

You make Rome feel so real with the way everyone fears omens and fate, and the main character is so lovable because he is just trying his best to survive. The Emperor and his story had me hooked from the first chapter. Your writing is beautiful, funny and heartfelt. Please keep writing."
