"Zu Beginn hat es mir wirklich gut gefallen. Es hatte ein Maß an Spannung und die Charaktere lernten sich kennen. Als dann aber Fankies Umzug stattfand änderte sich leider auch der Schreibstil der Autorin. Die Handlung hatte nur noch sehr wenig Tiefe und am meisten nervten mich die ständigen Wiederholungen von Textpassagen und Aussagen, wie Der Ring wog schwer....; oder funkelt,. Ein Kapitel ist komplett doppelt, einmal für sie, einmal für ihn mit identischer Handlung. Hier habe ich dann leider nur noch überflogen. Das fehlenede Ende macht es leider nicht besser."
