Imaginative addition to supernatural genre

Fantastic world building! This is a fairly complex story with interesting twists and turns, a good contribution to the usually cliche “chosen one” trope in the supernatural genre. Using dragons and tattoos also helped with separating this story from the rest.

The second universe and the ending seemed a bit rushed, but her life in that first alternate universe was more than enough to flesh out what was needed to provoke emotional investment from the reader. There were some minor-ish issues with grammar and spelling, as well as some missing pieces, but those are easily fixed with some editing and proofreading.

All in all, I believe the author has produced a good work here and hope that they will continue to mature.

Beautifully written reinterpretation

I love fairy tales, classical ballet, and good writing. This has all of the above! I find it interesting that there are elements of Swan Lake, Grimm Brothers/Andersen, and other fantasy archetypes in this story. The characters so far - it’s an unfinished work at the moment - are fascinating and I’m already emotionally invested in their outcomes.

I’m eagerly awaiting updates, if that ever happens.

Plagiarism? Or unoriginality?

don’t take this the wrong way, but I really don’t think this is something “original,” even in the loosest terms. both the name and the most basic plot point are identical to the Percy Jackson series, save the gender. I only read the first chapter, but I really don’t think it’s only a coincidence that the protagonist is a child of Poseidon with dark hair and sea green eyes named Percy.

Please at least change the name if you insist on publishing this.

Imaginative and quirky.

I actually read this originally on fictionpress a long time ago, I think, but I enjoyed it so much that I never really forgot about it. The plot was so original and fascinating that it really made an impression on me. I’ll continue to support the author here and wait for further installations of any additional stories.
