Surprisingly Heart Wrenching

I went into this book hoping for some quick and dirty erotica before bed. Now it’s 2.30am. I’ve cried twice, squealed and almost woken my husband up, and had to go search for the kitten so I could have a cuddle midway through.
The story is very sweet, and with a good editor and a few tweaks I think it would be an amazing addition to any publisher’s library.

Priests and Pleasures

I rarely give 5 stars across the board. This app is for people to publish 1st and 2nd drafts, to work on stories. Most of the books I read here are in need of a good edit and polish.

This has been a welcome exception. A heart heartening tale of finding your true self, hunting hidden enemies, woven with royalty and a unique vampire/demon lore.

I love the interplay of unspoken gender equality, the fierce emotions throughout, and even came to love the little flashbacks of well timed advice.

If Dante and John have more adventures together, I would be happy to be first in line to read it.

A Race to Rimworls

The planets of Rimworlds and Central alike will keep you on the edge of your seat.
A stunning journey through a futuristic landscape, this story has twists and turns to entertain and force you to reconsider the lives of men.
Psychological torture, enslaved against their will, two young men must fight to survive in a world that has almost forgotten that some people can be twisted towards evil. While the Central planets pretend that all are equal, others exploit new drugs and technology to keep people under their thumb.
Read a story about the corruption of power and the redemption of those raised to believe they are better than others.

Kind of Hilariously Poignant

A heroine who is an awful stuck up heiress...who heads animal charities but carries a crocodile birkin...
A hero who is pretending to be a scary alpha...but actually seems sweet..
But my favorite part is the cheeky nods to other werefics, and their issues with patriarchy/underage werewomen/virginity.
Loving it so far, can’t wait to read the rest.

A Song for A Love Story

I'm loving this story!
A fairly straightforward love story/erotica plot based vampire novel, and it's everything I wanted. Lots of good smut and plenty of "mate based" tension.
Punching up, I think you could expand the antagnist angle. We don't get any resolution of why her apartment is being targeted by the Zs or BAs, or why they get chased by the dudes in the SUV..other than just "they're the bad guys, I guess" I would love to see a development of that subplot, and maybe WHY they're going to attack that specific pack of vamps (or any other info you're interested in sharing about them) and about why there are new females, that one vamp that has found *his* mate, etc etc. You've got GREAT subplots humming along, just no development.
If this is going to be part of a series, where we DO develop these things, I would find a way to add that into this current story.
Overall, it's a great love story. A good editor will fix any idom and silly grammar rules, just like any good writer I would focus on telling your super story and let someone else deal with that nonsense.
You have a unique third person present narration style, which is very interesting to read. You have a great voice, and I encourage you to keep refining and give us more from this world!

Alternate Fantasy

While this is a work in progress, I have great hopes for the story.
At the moment, there is a lot of mystery that I’m anxious to have explained (and maybe foreshadowed when it comes time to edit) but the immediate action is wonderful and descriptions of the locations are wonderfully vivid.

Finally done!!

So wonderful! I started this book a month or so ago, and I’ve been following the updates.

Queen of Fantasy

I am so happy this book was recommended! I love the plot, the intricacies of the story, and it’s twists and turns.
Full of its own unique mythology “King’s Slave” is a fantasy novel sprinkled with romance and action.

A good editor can whip any of the issues with present/past tense voice (which seems to be the only technical issue)

Thank you for sharing your world with us, I can’t wait to continue the series.

Tables Turned

I can’t wait until this story is finished! I’ll update my review then.

After seeing the mischief, hangovers, and heartache in The Toy Maker you just know the sequel will have more of the same rollercoaster rides. While the main plot is intriguing, the supporting cast also has a whirlwind of adventure which makes this story unique and fun.
Not for the faint of heart, the Toy Maker and his Cherries will blow your socks off.

Amazing Sequel

Better that you would ever imagine for a steamy and sexy “romance” novel.
Daisy wants a job. Daisy wants her boss. Her boss wants a boost to his social media.
What begins as a business relationship quickly ignites like a fuse that twists and turns across a jagged landscape before meeting the dynamite in a dramatic conclusion.

Str1king Adrenaline

I first started reading this author on Galatea, following the trail of breadcrumbs back here to read the Dragon Slave series.
Eventually I moved over to start ARMY, and when that was done (in like 3 hours) I began this full and updated compendium of her Ultima Series.

I am still debating going back and reading the unedited first books BUT I’m going to wait until this is done first. I am so interested to see how it changes, especially since reading the complete 180 of styles between the Galatea edition of Requiem City and the original novel of Dragon’s Princess. Astounding.

Loving this story so far, very interested in the updates. I’m enjoying the dialogue and banter, the defined character traits, and the mystery where these beasts came from and why they were made to be in charge. Can’t to see why Alice-a (lol) is so important to them, and why her predecessor was destroyed.

Thanks for your stories!

Molly Can’t Be Mastered

Molly Barrons is a wonderful heroine, in a tale that twists and turns. If you thought Molly could be the mate that her maker’s wanted, you would be dead wrong (and Molly would be the one to kill you)

The author needs to take care in the change in voice from first to third person, but the grammar and technical writing is quite good. Any editor could help give it a polish and a smack, it would be a marketable story in no time.

I can’t wait to read the next one (〰️especially if Molly becomes queen of the 4 Kingdoms, I want to see that world!!)

The Boys are Back

I will never get enough of this series. I literally require Tor, I want Rage and Iris to have a baby.
I am so proud of the author for including so many different people in the stories. Too often we only see people who are perfect, have a dark secret, and who are white. Having a story about people with scars, with demons, from places all over the world (even if they’ve all found their way to California) is amazing to read. Treating Ironhand like a person with a background based in a First Nation culture, instead of a side character with magical Indian Powers, made me squeal with joy.
Here’s to the boys of Tyr, and the men they have become.

Riders in a Storm

This is my third Riders novel in as many days, I can’t get enough. The vivid imagery of a hardened biker gang being lead by their dicks to strong and magnificent women (who then lead them around BY their dicks) is exactly what I wanted. This family is strong and deep, their love is so powerful and tangible through the authors scope. I can’t wait to read more.

Two Little Devils

I really enjoyed this story. It’s a short novel, both an action movie and a romance all wrapped up in one. Though I expected more outright sex, I really appreciated the long twists and turns that brought the love to a resoundingly good finale. The action scenes are superbly written, and the authors style is impressive. Grammar and tense is impeccable. I usually advise all authors to seek an editor for these issues, but in this case the author doesn’t need it...just get it into some contests so we can publish it!
Good on you, it’s a great work.

Normalizing Trauma-And that’s a good thing

I understand that the story is a draft, and I am so excited to read the authors final version.

This story is so important because it helps to normalize women of color in a heroine role, normalizes PTSD and trauma, healthcare of all kinds, charity work, daddydom kink, as well as a whole host of other issues.
Romance novels are meant to be fun and fluffy and sexy, but it’s so wonderful to read a story that also helps to address issues within the real world. I wish that all writers had this courage, to tell a real story was still allowing it to be sexy and romantic.
I’ve enjoyed many other books from this author, and am excited to continue with this one when it is all finished.

I am also so pleased that the writer takes responsibility for perfecting the story, while never being embarrassed about a kink that some are reticent to admire.
You’ve got my vote, babe. Now write the ending and make us fall in love with Nick and Selene even more!!

So damn sweet

I’m loving this story. It’s so cute, and a nice departure from many supernatural romance novels where people just fall into bed immediately (which is never a PROBLEM, lol, it’s just sweet to know that there a nice sweet side around)
I’m editing my review now that I’ve finished:
I loved this story, overall. I’m usually not a fan of first person narration, but the author does a great job of navigating the difficult aspects of such a voice.
My only criticism is that the author is clearly sooo british😂😂 Middle America would never use phrases, idioms, or spellings like she uses. HOWEVER, if that’s my only criticism then it’s still a triumph.
Thanks you for telling this story. Where does it fit into the rest of the story of Lakewood/Bear Creek/etc in terms of timeline?

Family of Shifters

I enjoyed this continuation of the Bear Creek novels! I am so happy to have found this series, and now am on the hunt for the first one. I’ve skipped around in the timeline, but I don’t think it matters. I enjoy finding hints of the other stories as sideplots to the main story in each novel.
Can’t wait to read the next one!
Thanks for your creativity and for sharing this community with us. I had never read Shifter novels, usually just fantasy and vamps, and only recently read a were series. I love this mythology of fiercely loyal pack males who love and cherish their mates. Their dedication to family and simple living is a very sweet departure from my usual filthy rich bad boy loner vamps, and I may just be converted!
Thanks again, love the work.

4 for the price of 1

I’m falling in love with this town full of werebears, shifters, wolves, and bitchy town folk. I’m sorry I didn’t read some of the others first, I think I should’ve started with a different one that the one I started with. BUT, that aside, I do love how stuff can be read out of order and not shake the reader. This is a gem so far, can’t wait to finish it.

Beast is Best

Love the simple love story. I would be interested in more from this pack of dudes, Jax and his mate, AND what happens next!
My only suggestion is that the final kill was too easy, we all knew Beast would kick that dumb shit's ass easy! Though, I did love the feeling that Gia was never in real danger, so what do I know? I think if you were ever to expand this story into a larger book or into a series, that want to be just a minor boss battle with something worse coming afterwards.
Loved the smut, you've got a great style. This is my first story of shifters where they aren't wolves, (and are specifically SHIFTERS and not wherewolves) so I would love a little background on that at the beginning (but again, as a stand along story, its just fine)
I wish you all the luck and KEEP WRITING for us, cause you are awesome:-)

Undressed By the King

The book is pretty damn awesome, in terms of basic plot. I didn’t rate it as 5 Stars because I would like to see a bit more character development. The world building is great, descriptors and smut superb. Some of the language is a bit incorrect in terms of idioms and homophones BUT it’s nothing a good process editor wouldn’t fix. I am loving this story and can’t wait to read the ending. Congrats!!

Trapping Quincy

As with other books from this author the story is vivacious and fun! I love how all the series’s books intertwine so well. They only need a quick polish (maybe we are from different places but the idioms sound off sometimes?) to be bookstore ready. I hope this author gets everything she deserves, and the ability to keep bringing us wonderful romantic stories.
