JJ Hayle

Yes, Mr Larson is JJ's first story in the erotica genre, and she was inspired to write it after deleting some scenes, which had become a little too racy, from her fantasy novel.

Good

A very enjoyable read and a fresh take on the genre. It was both a sweet and bittersweet tale. My only criticism, and I'm being picky, would be the repetition of the story from the other protagonist's perspective. I don't think it adds anything and can become a little tedious--it is a minor criticism, though. A solid book with well-developed characters. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable read

I didn't like this book as much as the first one. I don't know whether that's personal preference or what, but I just didn't get the appeal of the lifestyle here. With Heidi and Andrew, it was obvious that they both get off on what they do, but I don't understand what the deal is here. Brendan gets someone to cook and clean for him, I suppose, but what does Angel get out of it? I don't know. I didn't get it. It was still a well-written story, though and I couldn't put it down. On a side note, what a hypocrite Andrew is! I think he forgot about Terri screaming her safe word when he was lecturing Ted. Overall, a good read. I'm looking forward to reading the others.

Intense!

Well, I really enjoy asshole characters and Andrew is the ultimate asshole character. A very well-written, gripping and intense story.

Interesting concept

I read this book as part of the Inkitt Book Club. I found the premise intriguing but it does fall short in its execution. There are many plot lines which don't seem to go anywhere and a lot of seemingly irrelevant dialogue. The author shows some good imagination, and with some work, I think it could be a good story. I would be interested to read the sequel.

Sweet

This is a cute story, a little cheesy in places, but very sweet. A good read if you want a little vanilla.

Great read

It was a little shaky at first. The characters were supposed to be part of the British aristocracy, but they weren't very posh or very British. That aside, I loved the concept. This story really had me gripped and ends on such a cliffhanger. I was so relieved to find that there was a sequel and I shall be buying it right away.

A good read

I enjoyed this story. It had an interesting plot and some pretty hot scenes. It was a little soppy in places, which seemed out of place early on before the characters became better acquainted, Otherwise, a good story and kept me hooked throughout.
