This was a great read. It was definitely a little hard to wrap my head around the transaction between Zara's 'parents' and Aidan in the beginning but you did warn us. In a society where's there's oppression your characters showed different methods of working to end it. Some conformed out of fear and the fact they had no choice yet some tried to stand up against it. I see some of the characters as symbols of the past and future. Zara's parents represent the past and throughout all that she's been through, her new upbringing has made her someone who won't take oppression. Both her and Aidan serve as the future where there's a means to putting an end to the oppression. Definitely didn't expect to find werewolves in the story so pretty cool surprise.
