Good story!

I really liked the story, but I recommend some editing as there are quite a few mistakes. The blurb also has some grammar issues, so you might want to look into that. Other than the few mistakes, the plot and characters were interesting!

Love the concept

I loved the concept- I’m eager to see what problems arise from it, like what the people in this world think of the rulers being chosen because of their eye colour. The ending was especially good! I can’t wait to read more!

I loved the mystery in the chapter! It had me excited to read more. The mistakes were nonexistent which left for a great read. I’m very interested in reading on to find out more about the characters and where they came from!

I'm already so interested in reading more. I'm looking forward to finding out about her powers, and her relationship with the king that's mentioned in the summary. There were no clear mistakes that I noticed. When I have time, I definitely plan on reading further!

Very Interesting story

I really enjoyed the story so far, it was quite unique. I loved the ending of the first chapter. II did have a few issues though. The main character in the first chapter just seemed annoyed with everything for a while. I can't imagine a real person thinking about how annoyed they are at children for improper grammar, I would expect children to make those mistakes. What I'm trying to get at is that by her constant annoyance in the very beginning of the book, before we as readers understand her, can cause her to be an unlikable character to some. Maybe its just me as I have been critiquing for a while.

I'm excited to keep reading! I hope my review was not too harsh, as I did really like the chapter.

The player and the pauper

I liked the first chapter, however I’m hoping the story will become more original and go into the characters motives in the future. It felt a little flat on that front.
