A different take on "Family Values"
Let's face it, I have often faded on a story because I didn't get what the author was doing, but I recognize these characters. I know them because they are people I have had to deal with in my own life. I haven't always been happy to do so all the time, but I know them.

That said, this is fascinating. A warrior race dealing with the karma payback on their past actions and the difficulties of how do they mate and who will they be with and pride in their race when you might not always feel it?
This story looks like it is taking us to a different place even if I know the people, and how will they deal with what they find once they see what it is they really deal with. This story looks like something that we will need to see in the book. I think this story is a must read. I'm intrigued.
