starts off creepy and ends WAY creepy

Happily Ever After? gave me chills. I love stories with unreliable narrators (kind of an understatement with this guy) where you're left wondering what's real and what isn't. That's exactly what this story does. Incredibly well done.

I'll definitely be checking out this author's additional works. I love their writing style.

Engaging Read

The S Word is fast-paced with complex characters who grow over the course of the story. The author does a great job ending each chapter with either a cliffhanger or detail that makes you want to keep reading. Love it!

Unique Stories

Each of the one-shot narrators has a distinct voice. The plots are all unique, and I love that #4 is LGBT+. Although #3 wasn't for me, it seems like most other readers enjoyed it based on the reviews, and I enjoyed the other three chapters.

There were a few spelling errors but nothing too noticeable or that detracted from the story. One suggestion I have would be to break up the paragraphs a bit more.

I hope the author continues adding onto this book!

Intriguing

Ray of Sunshine is a gripping story. The characters are complex, and the author makes the reader invested from the beginning. I would recommend slowing the pace and focusing on making the scenes flow.

Loved it

I read this book in only three days. I couldn’t put it down! The author had me invested in all the characters, not just the main ones, from the beginning. The character development is incredible. Can’t wait for the sequel!

Worldbuilding

The author does a great job balancing relatability and worldbuilding. Saffire's struggles with her hair and her nervousness about taking on her new responsibilities are easy to relate to, even though they're taking place in a world that functions completely differently from our own. The author teaches us about the world at a good pace; there isn't an information dump, but they give enough background that we're prepared for the next scene.

Enthralling

The author's descriptive language and use of Irish pulls you into the story. Not only was I fully immersed in the setting, I also felt Michael's emotions as I was reading. I'm looking forward to more chapters and seeing how Michael and Dawid's relationship grows.

Can’t wait for more

The first chapter is definitely a 5/5. Good dialogue is one of the toughest aspects of writing, and the author has it down pat. Super engaging and I can’t wait to get to know the characters in more depth as the story progresses.

AMAZING

Only seven chapters in, and the characters are incredibly complex and well-developed. I'm already invested in Paloma - I'm rooting for my girl to make the right choice with Dean! Scotch on the Rocks is the perfect level of steamy. I can't wait for more chapters.

2020s Love Story

I like how this story mentions teaching classes via Zoom. It's tough to write stories set last year/this year because of the way COVID changed the world, but the author does a great job acknowledging the pandemic without making it a focus of the chapters. The story is engaging and fast-paced. I'd love to learn more about the main character's past (and what's going on with her fiancé).
