Excellently done! There are a few odd word choices, but those were minimal. You've captured the essence of Slughorn quite well, I think. Snape was drawn well too. The sympathy between the characters was very good without becoming too maudlin. It is very easy, in this type of story, to let the POV slip away from you, but you pulled it off for the most part (technically, he couldn't have a POV of this story after being Obliviated). Canon error: Snape never knew what a Horcrux was.

Splendid plot!

The writing was smooth and sophisticated and the characters were consistent with the originals. But what really stands out is the plot. Many twists and turns, the new magic was entrancing and everything dovetailed together to produce a wonderful ending! Highly recommend!
