Chuck vs The Game

I found the story to be a fairly interesting read. The way Chuck reacted to what he considered Sarah's betrayal fitted well into the story. His letter to Sarah and her subsequent emotional meltdown was very convincing and there were several moments where I was trying to read through tear drenched eyes!. I could actually feel her anguish! However, we all know that Sarah is a strong person and a spy with excellent deducing skills and after some time had passed and the initial shock subsided, she was able to see past her grief and think clearly again. She began to see that all was not quite as it seemed and began planning an investigation. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, in her heart she was not totally convinced that Chuck was really dead! Call it the intuition of a woman in love. Well done!
I found the rest of the story only moderately interesting to me and I think that the problem might lie with me rather than the author. A course was taken that was not in keeping with the show and in fact rewrote events that had already taken place. It was too much of a stretch for me.

Chuck vs The Lost Memories

I’m so glad that I came across this story. I found it quite by accident and late in the evening but I thought I’d read a bit before going to bed, just to see what direction the story would take. Well, before I knew it, I had been drawn into the plot and couldn’t stop reading. It was a real page turner!
I had mostly come to terms with the beach scene, and talked myself into believing that somehow Chuck and Sarah would be ok but what I really wanted was a definite, black and white, no doubts whatsoever ending. The author brought that to her readers and so much more as she wove it into the fabric of a delightful story that was an absolute pleasure to read. The beauty of this story is that we got what we wanted and that is closure! Closure in a heartwarming way that definitely appeals to the romantic side of me, yet does not necessarily spell the end of a saga but perhaps opens the door to a new beginning!
What I liked most about this well written tale is that it became an extension of the show which softened the sting of that unfortunate final episode. There were the moments of humor and action and of course the love scenes, a couple of which really tugged my heart strings and I’ll freely admit, reduced me to tears several times especially the hospital chapters!
I loved it!
Well done! Two thumbs up from me!
