Helen a Horror Reality

Mark surprises again with material in rarely discussed territory. This is the kind of horror story that really scares me because it could happen. Aunt Helen is quite the monster with murder, embezzlement, pedophilia. Wow what won't this woman do? But you'll be disappointed in yourself because she is likable too. Marcy, her niece, is sort of a victim here, but perhaps the acorn has not fallen too far from the tree.

Transcending the Humanity in Short Stories

Mark has transcended again with a story that appeals to your emotions, your intellect, and your humanity. Peal back layer after layer to discover something new about the characters, society and ourselves. I fell in love with Andrea too and her childlike innocence, her path to discovering love. Although the story is placed in the future, the corporate indifference and automaton law enforcement echo warnings to us in the present. The dedication of Aiden and Attorney Finney to truth and compassion reminds us of our higher selves. The doctor and legal difficulties reflect good intentions gone wrong.

I laughed, I cried, I got angry, I felt inspired. Great story! I can't wait to read more from Mark Giglio.
