"I really enjoyed this story! Overall, it’s such a wonderful read with an interesting plot, memorable characters, and beautiful writing. The author’s writing style is genuinely one of my favorite things about the book. The writing is immaculate, and there are so many moments where the descriptions feel almost cinematic, especially when it comes to the nature and surroundings. Those little visual details really brought the world to life for me. I actually started with the audiobook version first and eventually switched to reading because I couldn’t wait for the next audiobook chapter. 😂 The audiobook was beautiful, but the writing itself made it just as enjoyable to experience on the page. I especially loved the descriptions of nature and the cinematic scenes sprinkled throughout the story. They added so much atmosphere without taking away from the plot. My only small suggestion would be the paragraph structure. I personally prefer slightly longer paragraphs because they allow me to sink into the narration and stay immersed in the scene. But that’s such a minor preference and definitely not something that took away from my enjoyment of the story. Other than that, I genuinely have no complaints. The writing is beautiful. And the characters! I absolutely loved Gabby. Her experience as a human in a wolf pack and the struggles that come with that were portrayed really well. I would have loved to see a little more of her story because I found her perspective so interesting. Tess was another favorite. She’s hilarious and has such a great way of bringing humor into even the more serious scenes. Her personality adds a really nice balance to the story. Connor, on the other hand... I hated him. 😂 I almost wanted to see even more of his suffering! At one point, I wondered if he was going to get some kind of redemption arc, especially with the whole “I was trying to bring balance” idea and the possibility that he had been manipulated or brainwashed. Part of me would have loved to explore that. At the same time, I actually appreciate that the author didn’t necessarily feel the need to redeem him. Sometimes a character can simply be bad, and that works too. So honestly, I think the story is perfectly fine the way it is. I also really liked Luca and Rowan. Both of them were wonderful additions to the story, and I enjoyed seeing their characters develop. And the dream sequences and cliffhangers in the earlier chapters? I loved them! They kept me curious and made me want to keep reading to find out what was actually happening. Overall, this was a beautiful story with an intriguing plot, fantastic characters, and truly gorgeous writing. I’m so glad I picked it up. ❤️"
