"I was in love with the way the characters were brought together! That had me hooked from the beginning with such a mystery as to “who does this journal filled with someone’s soul belong to?” I found that even though tanner went down the path he went, he still wasn’t willing to be the reason Colton got killed. And even that tiny bit of loyalty to your past friendships hit home on a personal level for me. The setting was very well written with the eyes on the terrain and backdrop directly from an author who experienced those same woods and buildings and experiences. It really shows M. Lanes heart. It was well rounded, emotional, hot, sexy, angsty, but filled with truths that I myself can say I’ve experienced in my life with turning points that resonated with my own experiences. M. Lane is doing it right every step of the way! "

"Yet another breathtaking storyline - I quite literally found myself short of breath as I raced along with the pace of the narrative. The search for the author of the diary was very intense, as was the love that developed from it. I am almost glad that my education in a boy's grammar school 60 years ago, was relatively boring and that my love of chemistry kept me fully occupied on the accelerated route to O levels. Bullying was rare and I am sad that many of the type of incidents you describe are based on real situations and are the lot of far too many young people."
