"I really enjoyed this one. It leans a lot more into the romance than the mafia side of things, but that didn’t bother me at all. If anything, it worked in its favor. Lukah and Vittoria’s dynamic was so engaging, the tension, the banter, the way their relationship developed, it all felt really satisfying to read. Overall, such a good read if you’re here for the romance first."

"Great story such a good plot of fluff and no gore and fights in this story. It was a great romance between the leads. Overall story I would give a 4 star since the enmity or revenge factor is not strong and can be conveyed with more depth. And the explanation of relationship between her family in the last chapter was little misleading, because when Vittoria’s brother gave permission to marry and everyone of her siblings has come to terms with their father’s death why were her kids and husband not visiting them."

"Good story, great plot. There are a few grammatical errors here and there. I loved this story, though there wasn't much action as I hoped there would be, but the romance distracted me from that. The book was very fluffy and out a smile on my face more than I'd like to admit. Thank you, Author. "

"Loved this story, binged it! The storyline is great and stays so throughout unlike ones that start good then become a bit of a damp squib in the middle. The other thing I loved were the inclusions of the Russian dialogue with meanings at the bottom. It was refreshingly different. I don’t know if the author is someone who speaks more than one language, has English as a second language or is just using Google translate, but it’s a good way to be reminded that there are more countries and languages than just English speaking ones. Read it, highly recommend ****************************** Boring comments on reading experience influenced by writing flow, grammar, spelling mistakes etc This free version would needs an edit before publishing because throughout it there are many small errors which you have to fix/translate while you read sentences, like extra or repeated words, which takes you out of the story, like when when you trip over a little stone on a path. The story alternates between Vittoria/Lukah’s POV and occasionally it accidentally switches back into the other characters POV, so you have the jarring effect again as you realise that the ‘I’ has switched to the other character. It’s the same with he/she - the two words are often used as both prefixes for one character or one prefix for a sentence that applies to two different characters. It can be really annoying to hear people be condescending about writing/grammar, so although I marked it down I wanted to say why and also for it to be useful for the author, some people love writing for pleasure and it doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s a great concept and story which is better than a boring book whose grammar or writing is perfect. We are blessed with a free book, whether it is a completely unedited first draft for a published one, an author looking to improve or someone writing for fun 😊 "
