When Being Seen Becomes Delicious
"I just finished reading *Big and Beautiful, Book 1: Delicious* by Divina Blackwell-Bates, and honestly... what a delicious read. ❤️ An erotica romance filled with desire, emotion, vulnerability, twists, and all the beautiful—and messy—ups and downs that come with love and attraction. What really stayed with me was **her**—a woman who is beautiful inside and out, regardless of her size. We live in a world that constantly tells women what beauty is supposed to look like. Skinny. Perfect. Desirable. So I loved seeing a story that challenges that lens and allows a woman of a different size to be seen, desired, vulnerable, sensual, and beautifully human. The author touches on something so many women quietly carry: self-loathing, insecurity, and the belief that wanting to feel sexy or desired is somehow something to hide. But desire is human. And sometimes we need stories that remind us we don't have to become someone else's version of beautiful to be worthy of being wanted. I also loved the twists! The intimate scenes, the attraction, and the emotional tension kept me hooked, while the theme of public shame and humiliation added another layer that made me genuinely feel for the protagonist. It raises those difficult questions about whether we choose revenge, forgiveness, or simply leave some things to fate. So many human emotions woven into one story. **Big. Beautiful. Delicious.** Well done, Divina Blackwell-Bates, for giving readers a different lens through which to see beauty, desire, confidence, and self-worth.
