"Stellan a ruthless,manipulative and possessive control freak Cleo who loves hard,and sacrifices too much Stellan and Cleo's relationship is messy, intense and at times painful to read This story embodies toxic love, boundaries, second chances healing and whether people can actually change What made it work for me was the growth Stellan wasn't just fixed overnight or by love alone, he goes to therapy, screws up, reverts and actually has to work and being better And Cleo's journey hit just as hard, she sacrificed a lot but eventually chooses herself and her healing And Jenna, she deserves her own shoutout,that friendship was everything 🤲 I don't want to give a lot of spoilers but compared to how I felt initially, I'm actually glad the pregnancy happened 😂 There was a significant turn around after baby Stacy was conceived. Yeah baby Stacy as I've named her 😂 She is loved generously by her parents, grandparents,uncle and godmother The ending hit perfectly 📌No over the top drama Just two people who chose each other after doing the hard work And to my favourite author, Riri, your writing is so detailed and easy to sink into You don't just tell what's happening, you make me feel every emotion, every moment of hope and hurt, you made Stellan and Cleo feel real, not just characters on a page"

Tension, Penthouse Drama, and a Very Fun What-If
"I’m really enjoying this story so far. The penthouse mix-up pulled me in right away, but what’s kept me reading is how grounded the characters feel. Cleo especially — I love how capable and observant she is, and how much care is taken to show her actually doing her work and moving through London on her own terms. It makes her feel real and easy to root for. Stellan’s POV was a great addition. His need for control, and the way that starts to quietly unravel, feels very natural instead of rushed. The notebook moment was such a standout for me — it was intimate and uncomfortable in the best way, and it shifted the dynamic without turning it into instant romance. I also really appreciate the restraint here. The tension builds through small interactions, internal conflict, and sharp dialogue rather than big dramatic moments, which makes everything feel earned.
