Qual é sua opinião?

Loved it

"I’ve read so many of Vero Cavendish’s books and this was one of my favourites. I was hoping Madelyn would pick the other guy but loved it all the same. So well written, particularly as English isn’t their first language. ❤️"

Such a good read...as usual!

"Such a good book - I enjoyed the characters very much. You are a great story writer - deep when it matters and light when needed. Thank you for sharing your gift! "

The Art of Leaving

"Soooo we have our happy ending for the ML and FL, and there’s even a personal growth arc thrown in for solid nutrition! But, poor old Kyle, just a tool (for an author) to use to move the plot and character development along! Again, doesn’t he deserve his own story so that he can step out of the shadows of “tool-dom” and experience a rich life of his own? There is a very touching Kdrama about characters in a story who become aware that they aren’t living in the “world” but are inside of a book being written in real time. It was shocking to them that they are not the MAIN characters, the stars of the show, but simply “tools” or devices that the author uses to move plot, set up situations, and are totally expendable and living a kind of shadow life-some of them don’t even have faces or names (like the background characters in graphic novels-just outlines, no identities or back stories)! But soon they discover that aside from the imperatives of the author’s writing, they can actually have a fully realized life IN BETWEEN the actual plot (the author’s domain-which is the LAW). They have so much time to live independently, with agency, aside from making brief appearances in the main plot, in the spaces around the action on the main stage, and it all becomes a complicated and wild ride when they take control of their “lives”! So here is a plea to Vero to give Kyle the chance to discover his autonomy In the story-world and become the star of his own life! "

Loved this

"Vero strikes again with a winning book. I liked that Madelyn starts out the book with a lot of growth to do, and her love journey and self exploration journey comes with bumps, complications, self awareness, etc. I enjoyed the Henry-Madelyn growth arc in terms of it not being easy and the rugby player being a good, multidimensional foil (eg not just a dumb athlete). Also liked her the FMC turns the trope of players sleeping with multiple people on its head. Really enjoyed the humor throughout the book as well :) "

Nice story

"I was really really hoping for a different ending since I really disliked this guy so i was disappointed in that. She took the easy way out. I felt really sad for the other guy, he deserved so much better. There were quite some typing errors around certain words like fiance, and random ã's that didnt make sense. Overall the story was well written and enjoyable"
