I really enjoyed this short story. I didn't scan it which is a great sign, instead you caught my attention and pulled me in with the story. The boys were immature little creeps, but that's what teenage boys are sometimes.
I would recommend this to others because of the overall feeling of dread it conveys, especially to a parent. It is interesting that the teenage boy, now a father understands the consequences of his actions.
It made me get up and turn on all the lights in the place, and that's a very good thing.. You turned an innocent object like a baby monitor into an instrument of torture and terror and that's what it's all about.
