You succeeded in putting us in the head of this poor Alliance lab rat. We really feel his pain and anger and confusion, wondering what is it with Miranda. Well done. I thought this was very well written and am glad you put it out there.

Everything about this is story so believable, from the way you've captured Wray's voice to his experience at the convention. Love the Battlestar Galactica jabs. Of course Wray would end up blowing it. The nice twist is that he comes away inspired. Good job!

A dream without pants...

Love this Firefly vignette, with its humour and spot-on characterization. Of course Wash would fantasize about his wife in a fur bikini. And River's insinuation that he wasn't wearing pants had me falling over with laughter. A leaf on the wind indeed! Wash. Dinosaur slayer.

Dark but essential reading

A very dark story, isn't it, but very powerful, and of course it could have happened. Your characterizations are spot on as ever. Loved how Wash still remembers enough of his previous life to tell the Reaver to get out of his chair. Am glad I read this, thanks for submitting.
