A dragon like no other!

I must admit this type of book and style of writing took me completely out of my comfort zone... I did find the first chapter a little heavy going, but appreciate those that seek this style out would probably relish it. However undaunted I progressed to chapter two, and I'm very pleased I did... As the story starts to unfold the writer shows you in great detail, the present situation that the dragons now find themselves in and how this feels wrong to Naydrus. Although the story is still in its early stages, (Chapter seven as I write this,) you are already anticipating a tough time ahead for Naydrus. Her natural instincts are telling her that everything she sees around her concerning the integration of humans and dragons, is wrong especially with dragons being the more subservient of the two. The more I read of this story the more I wanted to read! I want to know what will happen to Naydrus? Will she overcome her natural instincts and bow to the will of the humans, or will she escape the confinements she was born into, to live the life she instinctively knows a dragon should? If dragons and fantasy are what you look for in a good story, then I recommend this one as I'm sure, like me you will love it. Keep your eyes peeled to follow it's progress...

Death's Apprentice

Loved it! It's the first time I have ever read a book in one sitting... If you like to let your imagination run riot then this is definitely the book for you. It was exciting and kept me hooked throughout. I also liked the way it dealt with the sadness of death that will inevitably come to everyone eventually and the emotional loss that in time may touch them, as they have to deal with it. There are a few typos and mistakes missed during proof reading, but the story is so good that I was more than happy to over look them as I hurried on through the adventure. Would highly recommend it and will happily look up some of the authors other books.

The Mysterious Eye

Although I was drawn in by the blurb I wasn't hooked on the story after reading the prologue. As it was written in the first person I felt as if I should have felt the loss of the camera more. In order to feel this I probably needed to know more about Grace and why the camera was so important to her. I felt very little empathy with Grace, so I think a lot more back ground information on the character is needed. The story idea is good it just needs more work. Don't rush it, let it unfold slowly.

The Power Trilogy

I really found this book enjoyable. The diving into fantasy has you hooked straight away with the need to keep reading, wanting know where its all going lead. I particularly like the names of the characters and how she had woven a bit of ther back story in as the present one unfolds. You know a bit about each of them within the first chapter. The need to read more is already with you by chapter two,
