sea of misguided souls
an endless black sea.
a empty void with no sound.
sleeping heads bobbing about.
these creatures only cry bloody tears.
watch out.
watch out.
you can only shout so loud.
before it reaches their ears.
they're hungry for voices.
since they lack their own
don't you know the value in speaking willingly.
lips sewn shut
and tongues cut off.
they're living someone's nightmare.
but it's just a fantasy.
you don't want to join them.
in a ocean with body limbs.
so clear and yet not so pretty.
but somehow everyone is attracted to the view.
Like moths to a flame
or a memory that never stays.
lingering until we fall in
you're welcome to stay,
we need a few more heads.
but I can't promise.
that you'll come out alive,
why don't you just die?
maybe it's cause you don't know how
or maybe cause you want to
just know that wishes don't come true.
