BoF Fan

"So I'm a HUGE fan of Boys Over Flowers. That drama actually inspired me to live and teach in South Korea. I was delighted to see that you, who wrote the amazing Bloom, had written something based off of BoF. I also loved how you snuck in a quote from your own book! Priceless! Your sentences were a little hard to get through. And I didn't understand why you changed so much. Like why did you make Geum Jan Di rich? And did you mean for this to still be in Korea? Bento is Japanese. I really love how you kept the characters the same souls, if that makes sense. I want to read more, but I've never really been into fanfiction. Still will always be your fan though!"

It has grown on me

"It took me a while to warm up to this story but now I am very interested to see where you will go next. An interesting twist on BOF and the SoEl couple."

Very good - almost excellent.

"Powerful writing here. The reader is soon drawn into the protagonist's anguish and the plot has all the ingredients necessary to be a bestseller. However, the author should watch out for certain cliches that take away from the potential elegance of the book. Punctation and grammar, at times, is not spot on. Author also fails into the trap of telling the reader something, as opposed to showing us. However, Vulnerable Heart (a fantastic title) is not far away from being an excellent novel in every aspect. Keep up the good work."

Vulnerable heart

"This was indeed one of the best ga eul ff i have read so far personally i am not a big fan of the character it seemed quite cliche but read this story i found myself really enjoying however it seemed quite overdramatic at times.. Moreover, i would have preferred ji hoo and ariel there characters evolve and lastly at the end ja hae's character seemed just pathetic it seemed unnecessary for him to declare his love for ariel when it seemed all along that the had a platonic relationship. Nonetheless, I would recommend this to people who are bof fans and like gaeul yj pairing."

Drawn out. Repetitive Boring.

"When I read a book, I like to be shown instead of being told. For me, it felt like an outsider telling me the story instead of reading a story. Personally, I don't like third-person point of view. In my opinion, first-person point of view flows much better. Also, exclamation marks are overused. Example- "How can you be such a coldhearted man!" I understand the character is shouting, but that is a question. I'm an avid reader and am picky. So, that could be the reason I struggled to get into this book. It didn't grip me, and some parts didn't flow well. It's a lot of head thoughts that are written as if they're spoken out loud, and it's confusing. "Never wish for things you can't have or things that don't belong to you." She heard her mother say in her head once again. "Shut up!" "Shut up!" He wants to yell as she continues with more pleads. "Do it now." His mind screams the closer Eun Jae comes. I think this story would have flowed better had the editing have been better. Things were repetitive. Grew boring. I think it would have made a world of difference if a lot of the head thoughts were cut out since they were irrelevant to the plot. Also, I think it would have been better to show the reader instead of telling them. The chapters are jam-packed with boring filler. Boring conversations that led nowhere."
