Narrator's POV

You are Amelia's best friend. You are also in this story.

Amelia's POV

"Hey y/n, wanna come over later at mines?" I asked y/n, my best friend. "Sure, why not. At 5:30 though, because I have my routine" y/n answered. "Okay. Bye bestie!" "See ya"

Walking home

My legs hurt so much! Oh, there's home! And a... "Dog?!" Oops- I accidentally said that out loud. I'm gonna text my bestie about this!

Amelia texts y/n

Amelia: Girl! You won't belive what is outside right now.

Y/n: Something weird, ugly, and stupid, I'm guessing?

Amelia: No!

Y/n: OH! What is it then?

Amelia: A dog, with red eyes. It looks pretty.

Y/n: Red eyes? Cmon Lia, you can't possibly be serious...

Amelia: *Takes a picture and sends* Uhm, I am serious!

Y/n: Okay, so I gotta take a shower. But whatever you do..don't go close to that dog until I come back, okay?

Amelia: Uhm...okay I guess?

Y/n: Good BRB!

Y/n's POV

I hope she doesn't touch, or go close to that dog. She doesn't know what that thing could do to her.

I hope her mom tells her about dogs with red eyes in the winter because of Christmas... If she doesn't Lia's in trouble. "Mom!" "Yes, darling?" Y/n's mom answers, "Remeber about the red-eyed-Christmas Dogs? And how they are dangerous?" I ask my mom. "Yeah, why?"

Mom looked concerned and worried because of the question "Honey, why did you need to know?" Mom asked. I didn't want her to panic, so I lied and said "Oh nothing! Just wanted to make sure, so you won't accidentally get one and forget"

"Oh, okay that's good. And don't worry I will never forget that." Mom said in relife.

Amelia's POV

I'm trying to forget the dog, but it keeps looking at the window... Oh well. I hope Y/n text me later! "I'm starving!"

Narrators POV

So, a letter just came to every students door from their school.

It's about winter school (kinda like summer school, but it's winter instead) They get to decide if they want to go.

You and Amelia just discussed and agreed about going. You and Amelia walk to school together ❤️

Y/n's POV

I really want to warn Amelia about the dog. I mean- she is my best friend, but I don't want her to get scared. "We're here!" Amelia says pulling me out of my thoughts "Oh wow..." I say looking at the building. It was wide, and tall. I'm talking about 13 feet tall.

"Wow is right! There are so many hotties! Blondes too!" Amelia said not knowing that's not what I meant.

"Uhm, Amelia you are crazy," I say laughing. "And that's not what I meant, I was talking about the building" I say as I continue laughing.

Then we walk inside together, and started talking to each other. Until we were interrupted by a tall, brunette, with beautiful light brown eyes. "Hey, uhm do you two know where room 10 is by any chance?" The boy asked, I just stared into his eyes

While Amelia was brave enough to answer him, "Oh yeah. We have the same class, wanna come with?" She shoved me, taking me to reality "I'd love that." He answered.

He started walking with us and it was an awkward silence until we finally reached class "Uhm, thanks again." The boy says, I quickly replied "No problem" We went into class and of course, Amelia sat next to me. "Oh my God, y/n!" Amelia whispers surprised.

I looked at her confused and she pointed to the boy we helped "What? I don't understand!" I whisper not knowing what she meant.

She whispers in my ear, and I gasp quietly "N-no" I answered her question which was actually a fact. "Don't lie to me, y/n" she says. "Do you or do you not like him?" She says kinda loud "Amelia no!" I whisper.

The teacher looked like he saw us talking and told Amelia to answer a question on the board. I knew the answer, but Amelia didn't know I could tell. "Ms. Smith? Come answer this question on the board please" the teacher askes Amelia. She got it right because I helped her by mouthing and showing her on my fingers.

Class was dismissed, it was now lunch time. Usually me and Amelia walk, and sit next to each other. But she found more friends so quickly and I was happy for her, I just felt left out and sat alone.

I took a few bites of my food slowly because I was sad "Mind if I sit here?" I hear a voice coming from behind me, I turn around and see the boy I helped earlier. "I don't mind" I said.

He sat down and asked me "So, y/n, right?" I felt the urge to answer quickly "Yup. Y/n, y/l/n"

We talked, joked, and laughed even. I found out his name was Jake.

Amelia's POV

I don't know why, but I just feel weird when I see Y/n with that boy. So, I walked out of the lunch room angrily, and fast. I didn't know why I did it. I was walking in the hallway with my head down when I bumped into someone. "Oh shit, I'm so sorry" I apologize "Oh no, it's fine, are you okay though? I never see pretty girls like you walk alone"

Oh my God! Was he flirting with me? I blushed, but I covered it by putting my head down again but I replied "Oh Uhm, I'm new here. You know, it's my first day.." I put my head up and my heart skipped a beat.

"Well, mind if I show you around princess?" He said smirking "Sure, why not" I answer

I found out his name was Junior. He showed me around the school. It was a long journey.

Narrator's POV

(I skipped the rest of the classes because I'm too lazy right now) Anyways, y/n and Amelia are going to Amelia's place and you are walking right now. I also hope you guys like it so far. BTW Lia is a nickname you gave Amelia.

And your nickname from her is y/n/n.

Back to the story!!

Amelia's POV

Me and y/n walked to my house and she looked so happy for some reason "Well you look happier than usual" I tell her confused "Sorry, I'm just happy I made a friend at school" she says as she smiles

I look at her with confusion "You really want to know?" She askes me and of course I wanted to know who made her smile more than me and I nodded yes.

"Jake is my first friend" She said. But I have no idea who is Jake so I just nodded

She seemed to know I didn't know who that was and said "The boy we helped get to class Lia!" She yelled annoyed

"Woah! You like him?" I asked with suspension "Amelia! For the last time, I don't like him. Plus, we just met." She said with frustration "Okay and?" I asked not knowing the problem "And! We barley know each other?" She said as if she was done with explaining to me.

The rest of the walk was silent until we saw the dog I saw this morning. "Uhm, so Amelia...bestie? Yeah, uhm we should just go to my place..." Y/n says scared

"Oh my god, y/n/n! Are you afraid of dogs?" I asked wanting to confirm that they were not that dangerous

"Nope. Just that one" After y/n said that sentence, the dog chased after us and we ran as fast as we could.

Y/n's POV

As we ran I saw Lia's mom driving into the parking lot and the dog turned to her "Lia, don't panic... but i think the dog wants your m-mom..." Why didn't I tell her about this dog sooner!? The dog charged at her mom like a bull and- "Aaahh!" Me and Lia heard Mrs. Smith scream...

Later at y/n's place*

I hated myself for not telling Amelia before that thing ate her mom... I just wish I could fix this.

We went to bed after we both took showers and a fee seconds after we laid down Lia asked me something "Y/n?" "Yeah Lia?" I was scared of what she would ask me. What if I can't explain it? What if it's too much for me to answer? What If it's about the dog?!

"What was that earlier?" She asked I thought she meant the dog so I hesitated "W-well that was a d-dog, well a so called dog what is actually a demon-" she cut me off "I mean at lunch today..." I had no idea what she meant... because I've been with Jake all lunch- ohh

"You mean Jake, right?" I ask her thinking she was jealous "Uhm, yeah..." I was surprised to hear her say it so quietly and slowly.

"Well, me and Jake were just talking at first, then joking, and laughing. You know, just regular friend stuff" I said friend stuff to reassure to her that I don't like him, and I know he doesn't like me.

"It kinda looked like stuff that 'More than friends' would do..." Amelia said. She took it way too seriously but I didn't blame her, she must've liked him and saw him laughing with me. I would've felt hurt too.

"I promise you that we are nothing more than friends" I said calmly "Are you really sure about that y/n? Because to me it looked like you two were getting too close, and lovey-dovey..." she said angrily.

"Okay, what's your problem?" I asked as i sat up in the bed. "What's your problem, y/n?!" Amelia yelled at me while she got up after me

"Lia, if you're jealous just say it..." I said trying not to sound mean, or trying to not make it sound like I meant for her to get jealous. "Excuse me?" She sounded mad and sad at the same time.

"I-im so sorry- I didn't mean it like that-" I tried to apologize to her multiple times. But she just shut me down "Can you just not talk, and I'll try to forget this happened tomorrow" and so I did. I was quiet and I laid back down feeling guilty about what I said

Jake's POV

I was walking in the school when I saw y/n. I ran to her and walked with her "Oh, Hey Jake" she said happy to see me.

"Hello beautiful" I said trying to be charming "Aww that's nice! Thank you." She said.

Only if she knew how much I liked her and her beautiful y/e/c eyes. I was going to ask her if she wanted to hang out later when her friend, Amelia Smith, came and started talking to her.

She shoved me away and acted like I was never there... Then I saw my brother coming and he came too, shoving me! I went away felling unwanted.

An announcement on the intercom came on it said "Attention all students! To keep everyone safe, and easier to be on time. You will all have your own dorms!" Everyone cheered and clapped until the intercom said this "And when I say your own, i mean you and 1 more person." Everyone booed.

I went to breakfast and sat down next to y/n. She was alone eating again, and not with her best friend? I'm sure she has friends! I mean, look at her she's beautiful, and kind, she's so- "Hello!? Earth to Jake!"

Her beautiful voice stopped me from thinking any longer. "Oh Jake" She laughed. I was confused about what she was laughing about.

"Did you need something?" I asked "Uhm-" she quickly stopped laughing.

Y/n's POV

"Uhm-" I was scared to ask, I mean wouldn't that be weird? "Yes?" He looked at me concerned like my mom and so I started to hesitate.

"Come on, you can tell me anything. I promise." He sounded like my father, who passed away 3 years ago. So I started to feel comfortable again. "Wanna share a dorm with me? Unless you are asking someone else of course." I say quickly.

I felt embarrassed about saying it way too quickly "Sure, I was hoping to ask you later at lunch" He answered

I felt relieved that he wanted to share also. So, after breakfast we went to the principles office to claim our room keys.

"I know what you guys plan on doing, I see it in your eyes... No. Funny. Business. Alright?" The principle says angrily

Me and Jake share a disgusted look I shoved him with my elbow to give him a hint to say something about the comment the principle Said

"Uhm, sir?" Jake said scared "What?" The teacher turned around and says "We- uhm- I-" I said it myself because it was disgusting and weird

"We are not in a relationship, we are just friends, and we will do no funny business! Say one more thing like that to any student and I will report you, and your whole school for inappropriate comments about students!" I yelled at the principal and left the room grabbing Jake's arm into the hallway.

"Woah" Jake said "Listen to me Jake, if anyone says anything like that with someone your not in a relationship with you better not let that make anything awkward at all. Do you understand?" I was so angry I didn't know I was holding his hand

"Understood Mrs. Teacher" he said as a joke and we both laughed and then I realized I was holding his hand as he looked at it and smirked.

I saw Amelia walking pass with someone who I didn't even know, and she grinned "Uhm, excuse me while I go to the restroom" I lied I didn't have to go to the restroom, I just wanted to know who that was.

Amelia's POV

Ugh, Y/n's coming here? I don't want to talk to her right now! This is ridiculous!

"Uhm, excuse me? May I borrow your girlfriend for a sec? Unless she's not... But I still gotta borrow her, okay bye!" Y/n said

I am pissed! How could she say I'm his girlfriend? "Lia, really?" Y/n says like I was supposed to tell her something.

"What exactly?" I ask annoyed "That exactly!" She says pointing to Junior "What? Do you two have History' ?"

"Eww! No way!" I knew y/n wasn't lying when she said they didn't have chemistry in the past. "So what's the problem?" I asked out of curiosity "You never told me about him! We usually tell each other everything, Lia. What happend?" She asked sadly and worried

"Y/n, you happened... I'm sorry but things change. And plus when did you decide we tell each other 'everything'?"

I was talking about the red-eyed-Christmas Dog. She never told me about that and now after it ate my mother she had to tell me?!

Narrator's POV

So, I skipped the whole day because I'm lazy and I'm Series of this book
