He holds her in his arms, looking at her eyes….falling into those crystal tears. And slowly she starts to speak, “I think i-i have found my destiny.”
Chapter 1: why me?
February, 2023
There’s a rush in the office, the shares of the company has plummeted. An employee rushes to the CEO to inform him about this. CEO Jin, listening to his favourite song and resting gets tensed. An immediate meeting has been called on. The shareholders questioning him, the lights directed right into his eyes …… Jin stands up anxiously. The room is silenced. Now he starts to speak, “I am well aware that our shares have been plummeted and you all are worried about it. But I’m a lot more worried about this situation as the CEO and the majority shareholder of this company. The reason for the drop of stocks is the poor performance of our restaurants ….. Please give me some time and trust me, I will put an end to this.” the shareholders and other employees seem to trust his words and the meeting has ended. Yes …. He is our main lead, CEO of miracle groups, one of the leading industrial, technological, fashion, etc. company in India. Jin is a competent worker in the business world and now his target is make miracle restaurants a hit.
Now, let’s see our female lead. Rachael comes out of the testing room. She complains about the texture and the flavour of the food tested. Rachael is our female lead who works on a food producing company. Her work is to create and test new recipes.
Rachael has had a long day … so she decides to have a beer at her friend’s place. She goes to Monica’s bar and starts to drink. One beer has become 6 beers. She is drunk and starts to complain about her work to her friend Monica. Monica replies “you wouldn’t have been like this if you had taken that offer.” Rachael is speechless and anxiousness has overwhelmed her. She takes up her belongings, pays for the drinks and rushes out of the bar. She tells herself “anyway…..it’s for the better”
Next day at work, a normal working day for Rachael …. Or so she thought. She was suddenly called by her superior at work and was told that she will be working under a group called miracle for few months for a project and this project will help her in a promotion. She was so happy to hear this. Her superior informed her that a meeting is set between her and the CEO of miracle group to form a contract and start the project.
Later that night, she was waiting in a room in Miracle Company to meet the CEO. CEO jin enters the room and they both are speechless to see each other. Rachael is shocked and shouts “WHYY MEEE!!!!”
