Chapter 1
"Gray stop! Mom!"
"Grayson leave your sister alone."
He smirk at me before walking out my room. For a twenty one year old he act like a teenager.
I grab my bag pack head downstairs. Mom was setting breakfast on the table and Gray was being a pig.
I slap his hand away from my plate. "You have yours."
"But yours is way better."
"I'll stab you."
"Can you two stop bickering. Alora you're gonna be late for the first day of senior year."
I jump off the stool and head for the door. "Bye mom!"
Senior year here I come.
I took a short cut through the woods to school that's just for supernatural creatures. I was a fairy and so I'm one of the powerful ones.
I like being one with mother nature.
"Alora!"
"Jasmine!" I flew over the wall and land on my feet.
"Can you believe we're seniors already?"
"Yesterday I was a junior yesterday and today a senior. I'm loving this life."
"Hey so I just heard that the Kings of Werewolves are holding a ball for the 103 anniversary of their mates death. People will bring flowers and place on her tomb stone."
"Have you ever seen her before?"
"Only the pack members have. I heard hundreds of years ago there was a dark war that claims the queen's life. She was a faery like us and they treat her like the most delicate flowers."
"So when is this ball?"
"Saturday. Headmaster said we'll get Friday off to prepare. Its the first time in a hundred years that the Shadow pack is socializing with outsiders. Outsiders tend to get killed even if they are spotted outside the border."
Ok now I'm curious.
Maybe going to this ball can be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
