Chapter 1
" This is an ambush!" someone yelled in a distance. This alerted all the warriors sleeping in my tent.
"Let's go", I ordered, "Go alert others. I'll try and get in touch with the commander." We all ran out in different directions.
Halfway through the field, I saw commander, fighting with all his might. I slayed whoever came in my way. In my desperation to get to commander, I failed to notice the arrow that struck my shoulder blade. Another arrow struck my hand and the pain was immense. I couldn't move anymore. I was losing a lot of blood. My vision was fading and then... I was fading into nothingness. I finally succumbed to my injuries and let darkness pull me in.
