He's Back
It has been a little bit over 3 years since Arthur Goossens won his first title in his first season in karting and everyone wants to know what’s next. Will he go and race in a different country? will he continue racing in Britain? Despite him being 12 now and had 4 seasons experience in karting, he was not eligible to compete in the senior class or the likes of KF1 (the highest league in karting) because he is under 15, however he could compete in a different series in the British Karting Championship...
Everyone finally got their answer in a social media post by the man himself, a video of him declaring that he is going to jump from the Rotax Mini Max to the KZ2 championship, however the bad news is that all but one of his teammates declined his offer to stick with him for a second straight season They all decided to stick it out another season in the Rotax Mini Max championship that Arthur won in the previous season. The man that stuck with him was surprisingly Freddie Butler. Both of them were confident that with their two new teammates however Arthur was still sceptical about if Freddie will play the team game or if he is in this to get back at Arthur for beating him last season. Their two new teammate’s names were Dan Kelly and Charlie Cole and they both had very good 2022 seasons in the KZ2 championship respectively, with Dan Kelly finishing in P6 on 228 points and Charlie Cole finishing in P9 on 186 points. All four of them met each other outside of a restaurant near Silverstone and that was the point where all of them decided they wanted to be teammates. The team they will be driving for in 2023 is going to be Rush Performance.
Just before the season starts, Arthur comes face to face with a familiar foe, the driver who took his title away from him in Arthur’s second season of karting, Spencer Shinner and it's fair to say that Arthur wasn't happy when he saw Spencer.
