Aurora’s Magical Journey
Today was a big day for Aurora, about to become Queen of her tiny country and she was gleaming with joy and excitement. She hummed to herself while dressed in the dress that she had selected to where on this joyous occasion. As she was about to walk out of her bedroom she was met by her parents “I know I’m running behind.” they smiled a forced smile “Aurora we need to talk to you about something” her mother said before she sighs knowing she disrespected her soon-to-be arranged husband.
She was arranged to get married to her good friend, Reggie Williams but it wasn’t for love. “I know Reggie is a good guy and my nearest and dearest friend but seeing him as a husband is difficult for me” her dad put his hand up “that’s not what we wanted to talk about, Reggie is missing.” the news hit her like a freight train and she stepped backward and sat on her bed “his bed was made but no sign of him through the castle” tears filled her eyes, and just knew that she ran her best option to get married and most importantly her best friend.
Her mind flashbacked to last night when Reggie said “Are you excited to get married tomorrow?” she forced a smile “Nervous mostly, Reggie.” he frowned “Don’t be, you know I will take good care of you” she rubbed her neck “I don’t doubt that Reggie just never imagined I would marry my best friend” he was disappointed that she was not excited about it and just said “well maybe by tomorrow it will excite you” he then walked away from her and Aurora’s flashback was over. “It’s all my fault, I need to find him” her mother smiled “Go make it right with him.”
Aurora got changed and made a mad dash out of the castle in pursuit of Reggie. She hopes that he hasn’t gotten too far but on the way, she heard screams of terror coming from the local villagers. She turned around and saw the same blue fog that has haunted Cinderella and Snow White. It scared her to no end and made her run faster until she tripped over her own feet and soon the blue fog went over her after she said “Why today of all days?” she dozed off gracefully and woke up in a whole new land.
“Mmm, where am I?” she said groggily after waking up “it’s home but i” she stopped when she went through her golden blonde locks and could feel her hair. “Ooo a gal could get used to this!! Ok, focus, need to find Reggie and save him. “ she began to walk through the forest and called his name “Reggie, where are you? Please I need you. I know I messed up majorly and don’t expect you to forgive me. I’m just scared that I will let you down and live up to the special woman you rightfully deserve.” she bowed her head.
Reggie was hiding behind a tree from her when she started talking but the more she explained herself a smile went across his face and stepped out from behind the trees with leaves crunching beneath his feet alerting Aurora that someone was beside her and she jumped up to see Reggie standing there looking down at his feet “Reggie, I'm so sorry” he looked up at her “you should be but I heard what you said and you have nothing to worry about not being good enough. I know you are good enough because I chose to be with you.”
“I thought it was my parents who approached you?” he shook his head “No I gave them the recommendation and they agreed with what I recommended. I’m sorry I never told you before now and hope that you aren’t angry with me. I guess we both had things that we were trying to keep from each other.” both of them were so young and don't truly understand love yet but Aurora understood what she was feeling inside of her and despite being confused about feelings she knew deep down she would do anything for him.
“How could I be angry at a man who put his pride on the line by suggesting to marry me so I could be queen is the most important thing you could have mentioned to me. I know nothing about love but daddy has always told me that love is not letting go of a feeling even though the other does not share the same feeling. He told me that mom did not share the same feelings as he did but he did not give up and now you did the same thing for me.” she grabbed him by the shoulders and kissed him for the first time.
“It's so nice to feel a kiss on the lips and in my heart. I hope I never go back to pixels.” Aurora commented to him and he said “I am picking up a vibe of something.” it was then two girls walked up to them and it was Snow White and Cinderella still in search of their Devin and Chester. “I would not go any further you two,” Cinderella told them before Snow gasped “Aurora is that you?” Aurora then gasped “Snow? What are you doing here? Did you merge over here also?”
Snow White and Aurora grew up together in the animated world before Snow’s family became royalty and left Aurora’s kingdom. “Yes, I think every single animated character is being transported here, and what is strange is the men who fall in love with someone here get taken and disappear from them. It's like they get controlled by someone else and take off, this land is awesome but it seems this land is after every man that ventures in here” Reggie took a deep breath and said “At least I fell in love with Aurora in the other land. Maybe they will let me be.”
Aurora held on to him scared by what could happen to him while Cinderella said “Call me crazy but sounds like a desperate woman looking for a mate” Reggie laughed “that would be desperation at its finest. But I did pick up something when I first arrived here and it was almost like an eerie feeling.” Aurora held on to him “Reggie I don't want to stay here anymore. Maybe we should stick together and hope they don't find Reggie” he gripped her hand “Aurora, I will be ok and if it does happen I know you will do whatever it takes to find me. I believe in you”
She took a deep breath and looked into his eyes “your confidence in me will go a long way.” she smiled before he turned around “have you learned anything about the disappearances that are worth mentioning?” Cinderella spoke up “Yes, every night it seems something strange happens around this area where we are standing and we are thinking that if we stay here we might see if it could lead us to where Devin and Chester are.” the girls had a good plan but all they can do is hope that it works.
The group of 4 waited around for what seemed like hours until they saw a brand new phenomenon happening in front of them. They noticed a flash of light and in the light, they saw an underwater kingdom where Cinderella and Snow saw Chester, Devin, plus multiple creatures that were swimming around them before the underwater kingdom went away they heard a voice “Oooo another man” the four of them heard it and soon made a run for it to get far away from those creatures and to stop these creatures from taking the men that are in love.
It was then something jumped on Reggies back and bit him giving the same fate to him as Chester and Devin. “Don't let them take me” he yelled out before he took off at supersonic speed and was gone. Aurora fell into a heap seeing him take off but the sweet, innocent princess looked up and changed on a dime “I’m done playing nice with these creatures. We all need to spread out over this land and warn every woman and man to not fall in love.”
Snow saw a change in Aurora’s behavior and had never seen her more determined. “Aurora what can we do? We are just normal and we have nothing special that we can use” she shook her head “Oh no we have endless possibilities and we can do anything that we put our minds to. I just got Reggie back into my life and I am not about to roll over and just let them get away with this. So if you are with me and want your men back then let's do this” Cinderella and Snow smiled at her “We are with you” the three of them soon went their separate ways to warn everyone.
