His Isabella

angry winds push around a girl as she looked over the Cliffe. Betrayal and anger darkening her soul as she screams at the top of her lungs, she alone and afraid, not knowing what awaits in her future.

I came from a picture-perfect family, I never talked back or question anything. I stayed in my lane, made sure I never messed up. I was up in my room when i was called down for dinner by

my maid Harriot, I thanked her and put my book away. I made sure my long silver hair was straight and my summer dress that end to my knees was straighten out. Tonight, my father had guest.

over so i had to look presentable. I walked down the long hallway to are stairs, walking down slowly and carefully to not trip. Once i got to the bottom steps and started walking towards the

dining area i heard laughing and people talking. Once I walked in it stopped and the men stood up, my father taking a step towards me.

" Ah there is my lovely daughter, Isabella!" I smiled at him, he wrapped his arms around me giving me a tight squeezed, the pushing me to the table where the guessed were.

" Bella this is my good friend Mr. McCaine and his son Jax!" I shook Mr. McCain hand while he gave me a toothy smile and Jax just stared at me like he was in a trance until his father elbowed him.

" Hello Isabella'' his voice was deep and sent shivers down my spine, his greyish blue eyes were like ice, he was a great looking man built. with black hair slicked back. I gave him a small hello back.

Something just didn't sit right with him, we all stood there in silents for a minute until mom walked in.

"Dinner is ready! let's eat" Everybody moved to the table, Jax pulled out my seat for me, which I gave him a small smile. He then sat next to me while dad was at the head of the table and

mom was at the other side and Mr. McCain was right across from us. We sat in silents while eating until Mr. McCain cleared his throat looking at me.

" So, Isabella how is school going?" I swallowed my food so I could talk to him.

" Today was our last day, I graduated with high honors" he smiled at me.

" Well, your father didn't mention that! a girl with brains that is just wonderful, Jax here was top of his class and still continues to prove his intelligence" I smiled at him and nodded.

I felt awkward everyone was being weird and Jax hasn't taken his eyes off me. I just wanted to leave go back in my room and to read.

The men did some small talking about the business, and I just sat there picking at the food.

" Excuse me father can I be excuse from the table please?"

" Actually, Isabella why don't we go to the office" I looked at him confuse then at mom that just put her head down refusing to look at me. I looked at my father and just nodded.

We all stood up and walked to the office, I took the seat and so do Jax, his father stood next to my father behind the desk.

" Isabella as you know we are combining our company's and to do that, Mr. McCain has agreed to only do it as a marriage apposable" I looked at him shock and was about to say something until

Mr. McCain quickly pipped in.

" of course, the two of you don't know each other, so we have agreed to have you come back with us for the summer to get to know each other first" I nodded I knew that I didn't have much of a choice, but they were complete strangers, and I was too young for this.

" When will I be leaving? graduation is this Saturday I can't miss that I have to give a speech" My father looked at me then at Jax.

'' you will go to the graduation, but right after Jax will take you back with him" I nodded at him, I was upset. But whatever I said wouldn't matter, I knew that.

" Now you may go to your room while we talk" I stood up and walked out of the office. I went straight up to my room closing it quickly, I let out a breath that I didn't even know I was.
