The Dream
It was August 12th during a red-eye flight to the Big Apple. I was having trouble falling asleep in the airplane seat for the past few hours. The seats were uncomfortable for my back where I only had my cube pillow to help rest my head onto the micro table of my seats.
Although I was accompanied with a few books that I have bought days before I left for New York. One of them was the famous story of The Sword and the Circle. I was always fascinated with the Arthurian Legends as I always heard of the stories of the knights of the round table from the shows that I would watch as a child. They always sounded like a world that only existed in fairy tales.
As I sat on the plane, the hum of the engine and the steady rhythm of the skies lulled me into a dreamlike state. I held my necklace given by my mother to help remind that the lord is always there with me. As I rest my eyes and drift into a deep sleep. It was not that I would be transported into a different world from the real world.
I was awaken into a forrest on the glass. Iconically, it was soft yet unsettling. A little too close to comfort. As I stand onto my two legs cautiously looking around the dark tall trees around me. I was alone into the woods with no end in sight.
Suddenly I stumbled upon a bluish bright light glistening the lone trail leading to it. I walked towards the path to see a grand lake at the end of it. I was surprised by the massive size of the lake compared to all of the lakes that I have been on. Then the light that casted over the lake went into pitch black. I felt like the world came into a end in a blink in an eye.
Then the lake was covered in darkness except for a circle of blue flames surrounding and irradiating around me and the lake itself. No people. Just blue flames surrounding the lake like they were people celebrating like it was Christmas.
Suddenly, the group of the blue flames went into a large line slowly merging into a human-like figure. The flame figure takes its first steps as it slowly approaches me as it was shaping into a tall yet beautiful woman.
“Niall?” as soft voice slowly rises up as I move my head upward.
There it was a beautiful woman looking at me with a smile on her face with glee like I made it alive for a sick joke. Truly I thought that I was going to be burn to a crisp in that moment.
So you finally see me? As the woman speaks.
I respond with confusion why I am in this weird dream.
Hello Niall, you may be confused but it looks like we have meet by faith. What a coincidence that we would cross paths for the first time.
Meet by Faith? Was it just a random call from god. It sounds a bit out there?! As I was bewildered on what I was hearing. Let me get this straight, who are you anyways?
The woman answered, “Viviane”, I am the soul of the Lady of the Lake. My physical body from past may be long gone but my soul lives on. You may be confused now but I am here to tell that your life will turn an unexpected turn in this next chapter of your life.
I was puzzled by that bold statement of what Viviane said to me but left an interest for me to learn more about my fate.
I am here to tell that your life has been leading to this destiny where your hertiaige and your determination will determine the fate of our world. Our legacy has been rewritten in a way where the sins of humanity has taken control in this current world. Your destined to be the hero that will bring balance to the new world.
“Hero of my time?“. I didn’t understand on what she meant but I continued to listen more attentively to her words.
Precisely, you are destined to break the chains of corruption and rebel against forces that you will encounter many unlikely companions in your journey who help push you into achieving your goal. They have their different backgrounds but their destiny remains the same. Be sure to help them on this journey.
As you arrive in New York, find the wise man and he will guide you on this journey becoming the hero that this world needs.
Wait, this doesn’t explain anything as I try to understand the story behind.
This women, Viviana quickly vanishes in flames as I try to gain answers from her about my fate. I was left confused and perplexed by her message. I never understood the weight of those words. However, I feel a chilling feeling that something dramatic is going to occur sooner than later.
