Twenty Nine Year’s On This Earth
After twenty-nine years of being on this earth,
I’ve had to say goodbye to loved ones as well as good friends,
Twenty-Nine years of learning from mistakes I’ve
made at one time in my life or another,
I’ve met people who taught me not everyone is trustworthy
Or worthy of my love,
I have learned how to love myself and as well as my
Disability at a young age.
In Twenty-Nine years I have broken my arm determine to learn
How to ride a bike,
I’ve had one surgery in my life.
Between physical, occupational, and speech therapy
My walking, talking, and motor skills have gotten better.
I’ve learned how to be a stronger more independent woman,
I have learned how not to give up on myself in my Twenty-Nine years of living.
I have had demons that I learned how to fight,
I’m so grateful to still be on this earth living because
Tomorrow is not promised,
In my twenty-nine years, I’ve seen things as well as done things
that I am not one hundred percent proud of.
I’ve proven doctors wrong by talking and walking,
I’ve overcome fears as well as experienced more adventurous than I thought
Wasn’t possible.
In my twenty-nine years I’m finally going to meet my biological brothers and
Sister on my father's side.
My goal this year is to be the best I could be!!
