Missing Maddison
The phone rang. "Hello," I said, "Hello." No one was there. I put the phone down trying to hold back every tear in my eye, as I wish just one phone call would be about how someone had found her. We had been getting all kinds of phone calls ever since she went missing. My best friend the very soul of my happiness the bright star in a dark gloomy sky was gone.
Everyone says they still feel as if she was still here and it's almost as if she never went missing. Do I think that? But then I remember how she had the ability to make you feel so special as if you were her whole world. I want her back but at what price?

"ANNA." My mom shouts as I hear a crack in her voice.
"Mom. What's wrong?" I say with a scrutinized look on my face.
My mom hands me the latest paper with a panic-Stricken look on her face. My hands shook as I took a massive gulp and felt my saliva sliver down my throat.
