prologue
The weather started to worsen. It was a heavy pour. The clouds roared and the lightning welcomed.
As everything started to become rough and hard, a cry was heard for a short period. Before the darkness swallowed it.
It was how they imagined the queen of darkness to be born. The clouds screamed and the darkness embraced the queen.
The night wasn't good. At least not the way the parents imagined it to be but they were happy to welcome the tiny little cute baby and take care of her.
They weren't rich enough to treat her like a princess and give her a comfy life. But cared for her cause that's what the parents do.
Love you selflessly.
But the world is selfish.
Greedy and corrupted.
Jealous of your success.
This was the way the world welcomed her and the darkness embraced her.
But the city wasn't happy. Homeless kids were trying to find shelter. Parents were trying to protect their kids. Many cries were heard.
The beautiful city was drowned in the water. Everything changed rapidly. No one imagined that something like this would happen.
The rescue team was trying but couldn't due to the weather. Kids cried but nature showed no sympathy.
It was the most horrible and maybe the last night for the city.
Beautiful Parks, where children would play were destroyed. The library where students used to study peacefully, was no longer peaceful.
The stadium where the audience would cheer for their favorite players collapsed.
People in the hospital cried, and begged for life. But their pleas went in vain. God showed no mercy nor sympathy. No hope was left.
Everyone was selfish. Selfish to save themselves and live. A hard yet true reality. Everyone will leave you when you are suffering. No one, literally no one will help you in tough times.
The same thing happened with the tiny creature, who was born just a few hours ago.
Everyone was in such a hurry that they forgot her. Forgot that there was a child in room 666. Even her parents left her.
Only trees are selfless in this world. They give us everything but expect nothing. Humans are selfish, no matter what your relationship is with them.
But the small creature who was in the crib was calm. As if she knew what was happening.
The room in which she stayed was silent except for the sound of heavy raindrops.
The rain is man's new enemy, according to news reports. People cursed nature and the almighty.
It is human nature. They blame the circumstances instead of solving them. We blame god when tragic situations occur but never thank god for the beautiful life he gave us.
If beauty is God's signature, then rain is his final flourish.
The curtain of downpour passed over by the time dawn arrived. The sun shone brighter than ever. A homely baked earthy smell rose from the land. The birds chirped as if nothing happened.
The whole city was calm. The rescue team came in and shifted the patients. Most of them were dead but a few lucky people were saved.
They almost forgot the tiny infant but somebody noticed her and saved her. They were shocked but couldn't do anything.
The huge buildings which were standing high collapsed on the ground. Everything in the city was destroyed. Poor creatures died because no one cared to save them.
The most loyal creatures were lying lifelessly on the roads. The trees which give us life were no more. The beautiful flowers which bloomed in spring were covered in dirt.
The famous city which took 20 years to build, and millions of workers and creative minds, collapsed in one night. Nothing stays for a long time.
People were shifted to the nearest city. The rich city turned poor in just one night. People with high ranks were jobless. People who go to the gym were laying on the hospital bed.
Kids who had beautiful smiles while looking at the sky had teary faces.
Sometimes we can't stop or control but stay calm and embrace nature's beauty.
Count God's blessings, he will bless you. Curse God, he will curse you.
God has the power to create us and destroy us.
Life teaches the hardest lesson to the softest hearts. A message that you will remember throughout your life.
One of the most tragic situations in the world took place in this city.
